Terry L. Best is from eastern NC. Earned a BS Degree in Agriculture Education fromNC A&T State University in Greensboro NC. He provided technical assistance tolandowners and farmers in natural resource planning, conservation practice design andimplementation. He recently completed a 42-year career in North Carolina as SoilConservationist, District Conservationist and Supervisory Soil Conservationist withUSDA, Natural Resources Conservation Service. While serving North Carolina hespecialized in both agronomic and structural best management practices.He currently serves as Assistant Director for the Sustainable Forestry and LandRetention Project.
