Josh F. Walden serves as an attorney and Chief of Operations for the Center for Heirs’ Property, where he oversees the Legal, Forestry and Community Engagement Departments and works closely with the Executive Team to ensure that “Rightfully Home” is more than just a tagline. His dedication to fairness and justice properly aligns with CHP’s mission and serves as the motivation for 16 years of serving our constituency.
He has been a member of the South Carolina Bar since 2000 and practices in the areas of Real Property. Probate and the court of Equity. He transitioned from Director of Legal Services to C.O.O. in 2019 and has since been a member of the Center’s Executive Team. Josh F. Walden holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of South Carolina and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He is also a Certified Civil Court Mediator and has served as a Guardian Ad Litem.
