Dr. Hui Li is an Assistant Professor and Extension Specialist in Forest Biomaterials, focusing on circular bioeconomy solutions using bio- and recycled materials. His research advances biopolymers and biocomposites, nanomaterials, mass timber manufacturing, and adhesive bonding, with a strong emphasis on composite and plastic recycling. Through Extension and industry outreach, he supports innovation in wood products and chemistry, mass timber, wood-based composites, and sustainable packaging.
