About me
Charley is a 1975 graduate of the School of Agriculture at the University of Arkansas at Pine
Bluff. Immediately after graduating, Charley accepted a position as Soil Conservationist with the United States Department of Agriculture, Soil Conservation Service, now Natural Resources Conservation Service. Serving in various positions such as District Conservationist, Resource Conservation and Development Coordinator and StrikeForce Leader, a 44-year career concluded in 2019.
Upon retirement, TaskONE LLC was started to provide intensive care assistance to Socially Disadvantaged producers to help promote positive aspects of applying resource conservation practices on agriculture land and further increase participation in the United States Department of Agriculture, agriculture producer program.
TaskONE LLC works with the Agriculture Entrepreneurs Small Business Enterprise Program (AESBEP), As a Conservation Planning Specialist, helping land users understand the importance of connecting the application of resource conservation practices to help sustain the production of land resources.
Charley is an avid writer of poems and is now a published author. In 2022, Charley published with Dorrance Publishing company, Charley’s 20/20 Visions; Spiritually Inspired Mental Insights.
Charley’s hope is that many will read and be inspired by these mental insights.
